Review: Thank You Farmer Water Sun Cream SPF50 🧴

With warmer weather on its way, this is definitely one sunscreen you'll want to try out! 🌞
Although, we all should be using one all year round...if you're guilty, now's the time to get into the habit of applying one every single day. It's definitely not hard to do with amazing, innovative products like these.

Japanese and Korean skincare, especially sunscreen, has always been lightyears ahead of the rest of the world. They've spent years crafting and formulating sunscreens that are far more advanced than the box standard thick and goopy cream that leaves a white film all over your face. This South Korean brand has created a sunscreen that is like skincare. Light, moisturising, non comedogenic (won't cause acne) and effective.

The Thank You Farmer Sun Project Water Sun Cream SPF50 is such a beautiful product and the perfect springtime, transitioning to summer, sunscreen.

This is Thank You Farmer's brand description:
"A brand built around the honesty and respect farmers have for nature, Thank You Farmer aims to harvest the fruits and grains of nature and bottles all of its goodness into skincare. Placing beauty-boosting botanicals front and centre of its formulations, the entire range aims to preserve the integrity of skin to help create a health, balanced complexion. Practical yet beautiful, Thank You Farmer addresses a myriad of skincare concerns from dryness and dehydration to rebalancing combination skin. Calling upon natural ingredients with proven efficacy the entire range is designed to make a palpable difference to skin."

When you put it on, it does not feel like a sunscreen at all! It's this gorgeous, almost watery, super light moisturiser feel and glides all over your face easily. It gives you that glowy (but not greasy) lit-from-within dewy effect and lasts all day long. It also just locks in all of your other skincare underneath it.

For reference, I have combination skin with some rosacea and am prone to hormonal acne around my chin, and this hasn't caused any breakouts or irritated any sensitive areas in the now 3 months I've been using it, so I'm super impressed. Another bonus of a formula like this, is that any skin tone can wear it without fear of a white cast or chalky-ness! I honestly cannot recommend that you try this enough, especially if you've had trouble in the past with finding a good one.

You can only find this in very few online shops at the moment as it's still quite new to this part of the world (UK & Europe) and unfortunately it's out of stock at Cult Beauty but they usually restock their products quite quickly, so please keep checking back! You can even join a waitlist to be alerted as to when it's back on the site.

This sunscreen retails for £18 for 50ml at the time of this blog post. Full ingredients list on Cult Beauty.

Questions for you!
  • Do you wear sunscreen every day?
  • Did you know that the #1 cause of aging is the harmful UVA and UVB rays from the sun?
  • Do you have a favorite sunscreen you would recommend?
